Obama’s First Meeting

The future American president and first lady met for the first time in 1989 when Michelle was assigned as a mentor of Barack Obama in a law firm. 

As they both were Harvard graduates firm decided to hook up this couple thinking they can have more understanding between themselves.

Obama’s First Date 

Even though Michelle was assigned to be the mentor of Barack Obama, he did not hesitate to ask her for a date. But for the first time, she rejected the proposal however she accepted it in the second attempt.

Barack and Michelle got engaged in 1991 after dating for two years. They got engaged during a dinner which was supposed to be a normal outing to celebrate the passing of Barak’s bar exam.

After a year of their engagement, they got married on October 3, 1992.

On July 4, 1998, after their two years of marriage, they welcomed their first child Malia Ann Obama. Similarly, on July 10, 2001, they had their second baby Natasha Obama also known as Sasha.
