Steve Martin's Net worth: How He Created His Fortune?

At present Steve Martin's fortune value over a $110 million, as of 2018. Back in 2017, it was around $80 million. Steve keep on boosting his fortune through the support from his professional life as an actor, writer, producer, comedian and many more related to the entertainment industry.

The secret of Steve Martin's success lies below his struggle and love for his profession as a comedian and actor. Steve life as an actor and entertainer began after his graduation from Garden Grove High School. After the graduation, he started playing role in dramas at local places, school dramas and finally got chance to move ahead from "Bird Cage Theatre".

Steve used to get very much influenced by the philosophical classes and often used to say if not actor he would have been a professor of philosophy. He used to say:

"It changed what I believe and what I think about everything. I majored in philosophy. Something about non-sequiturs appealed to me. In philosophy, I started studying logic, and they were talking about cause and effect, and you start to realize, 'Hey, there is no cause and effect! There is no logic! There is no anything!' Then it gets real easy to write this stuff because all you have to do is twist everything hard—you twist the punch line, you twist the non-sequitur so hard away from the things that set it up".

Martin periodically spoofed his philosophy studies in his 1970s stand-up act, comparing philosophy with studying geology.

"If you're studying geology, which is all facts, as soon as you get out of school you forget it all, but philosophy you remember just enough to screw you up for the rest of your life".

The saying quoted by Martin clearly shows how much influenced he was from the philosophical

statements.
