After that he continued his struggle by performing at local clubs and even made frequent appearance at shows like The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, and on The Gong Show, HBO's On Location, The Muppet Show, and NBC's Saturday Night Live (SNL) which gave Steve a huge fan following and support.
